Cajun Cowboy Smash Burgers
Crispy edges, bold Cajun soul.
80/20 ground beef smashed thin on a screaming-hot griddle and seasoned with Cajun Cowboy for smoky, spiced crust. Stacked with pepper jack, pickled jalapeños, and a quick remoulade — these burgers hit different.
Preparation
- 01
Mix mayo and hot sauce in a small bowl for the quick remoulade. Divide ground beef into 4 loose balls (do not overwork). Season the outside with a pinch of Tuxedo.
- 02
Heat a cast iron griddle or skillet over high heat until smoking. Add a thin layer of oil. Place one beef ball on the griddle and immediately smash flat with a spatula or burger press, pressing firmly for 10 seconds. Season the top generously with Cajun Cowboy.
- 03
Cook 2–3 minutes until the edges are deeply caramelized and crisp. Flip, add pepper jack, and cook 1 more minute until cheese is melted. Repeat for remaining patties.
- 04
Toast brioche buns on the griddle. Spread remoulade on both sides. Layer with lettuce, tomato, burger, and pickled jalapeños. Serve immediately.
